Complete list of vegan and cruelty brandsAs I mentioned earlier, there’s a HUGE difference between going cruelty-free and going both- Vegan and Cruelty Free. There are hundreds (maybe thousands) of beauty bloggers that talks about cruelty-free only. The sad thing about it now is that there are so many loopholes in the cruelty-free world such as companies getting into what they call “third party testing”.  They have parent companies who does animal testing! For example Urban Decay. Urban Decay proclaims it is a cruelty-free and vegan product… but… its parent company L’oreal is in PETA’s hall of shame. To make things more exciting there are companies who brand themselves natural and green when they’re full of toxic chemicals just like the rest of the commercial brands. (Beginner’s Guide to Green Beauty 101)

I’ve collated the list from MY OWN PERSONAL preference and recommendation.

REMINDER: Vegan and Cruelty-Free doesn’t mean non toxic. An example would be Urban Decay, Ben Nye, Wet & Wild Elf, Tarte,  NYX, Too Faced, The Balm and Nars Makeup- all of which are  vegan and cruelty-free certified but most of their product has toxic chemicals.  Burt Bee’s lip balms were reported to have traces of lead. Lime Crime has some toxic issues too. It is still important to read the labels. (Green shopping tips here)

What are your favorite vegan and cruelty brands, and which ones are non toxic?

Hello pretty! Thanks for this info. I’m still looking for more natural skincare brands. Are these products available in our local department stores like SM or in Watsons? I’ve visited a human heart nature branch a couple of times though. Thanks! :)

Please try, ritual.ph and Sesou stores. If I’m not mistaken they carry natural/organic products or at least 90% of them. Or perhaps, google natural/organics product Philippines then you’ll be able to see good sites who carry these type of products.
