Andalou Skin Care line always had glimmering reviews in the beauty blogosphere. It is known to work miraculously on normal, combination and even on blemish problematic skin. In terms of skincare though I’ve been dependent on natural products that are produced locally. I try to shy away from drugstore and mainstream commercial beauty and skin care lines after my latest heartbreak (discovery) with Khiel’s and Origins. (You may want to read about it here and here) However, I decided I finally need to be a little bit serious about my skin, since I’m almost in my mid thirties. This creamy cleanser is a five star rating for me. The cleanser improved the look and feel of my skin. My dark spots are a bit fewer and my stress-prone skin was a bit glowing.
The cleanser felt wonderful in my hands! It has that creamy velvety leather, not too thick and greasy and it cleanses very well without drying skin out. (At least in the Philippine weather) No icky feeling. Not too much lather, a very good sign that it doesn’t have those harmful triclosan ingredients. It even leaves my skin with that healthy shine. The scent is just perfect for me- not too citrusy or strong.
The formula is very light yet it’s quite surprising how it cleanses even the most stubborn eye makeup!
Packaging. I love the bottle. The pump was so easy to use. And you can lock it again. Although I wish they have available travel sizes.
What sold me out was that it was vegetarian, GLUTEN-FREE, GMO-free, CRUELTY free and it has regenerating fruit stem cell science for brightening. Oh and my favorite of all it has anti aging components!!
This stuff is just amazing! I thought it was then again, another mainstream product that will disappoint me. Using this day and night and I love how my skin tone and texture brightened up. I have sun spots on the right of my face, and it seemed to lighten up! I love the fact that Andalou Skincare is made with a lot of thought and care using natural and fair trade ingredients with a minimum 70% certified organic content!! Totally this cleanser is of HIGH quality without even breaking the bank! Manuka honey is extremely expensive you know, but this bottle is reasonably priced. (Php500++, around $10.40) I love it so much I brought the BB cream! I’m planning to buy the entire skin care line and review them for you soon! I’m totally obsessed.
