GSTuff Sheer Basic

If not for its synthetic, non-vegan and toxic ingredients Shu Uemura Cleansing Oils would’ve been my best makeup remover of all time. Unfortunately, it has mineral oil, squalene and artificial fragrance. Totally un-vegan, un-natural. (Decoding Green Terms here) When I switched to natural two years ago, I’ve tried different oil concoctions, but it’s either they don’t take off eye makeup and waterproof mascara that easily or they just simply irritate my eyes and skin resulting to breakouts.  I wanted to make my own DIY makeup remover or just use coconut oil eventually, meanwhile I will let this trusty little fellow save the day for me.

I love G Stuff. They’re popular in the country for their cold-pressed organic coconut oils from Brooke’s Point Palawan and for their healing crystals. Their premium VCO product has high content of ceramide that’s said to removes wrinkles and can keep the skin young. Aside from the fact that Manny Pacquiao (the great boxer of all time!) funded the Brooke’s Point project, G Stuff is known as a green store that does give back 100% of their profit to the community of farmers. I also wrote about their amazing oil-pulling oils here.

What I love about the Sheer Basic is it’s multifunctional. You can use it as a:

  • Cleanser
  • Makeup Remover
  • Moisturizing and Hydrating
  • Calming and Healing
  • Sun Protection
  • Anti-Aging

In my case, I use it as a makeup remover and… a brush cleaner! It removes those stubborn dried up gel liner from my eyebrow brushes. For eye makeup, I do just dab a few drops, make panda circles around my eyes, do it one more time and poof heavy eye makeup and waterproof mascara completely gone! Tissue off and rinse with soap and water when needed. The premium coconut oil makes my face a bit greasy so I still rinse it with soap before I go to bed.  I sometimes rinse then re-apply to leave some oils on my face overnight. Pretty good hydrating performance.

I’ve tried an array of their products already from salt crystals, snacks, dips, chips, granolas, baby stuff, hair, skin- I haven’t been disappointed yet!  It’s really Good Stuff! It’s even better than imported products.

Price. For almost a quarter of my Shu Uemura Cleansing Oils, this one’s a keeper! (P250) And this lasts me for 4-6 months!

And I’m so happy to report to you that their products are now available online!! Yepeee! Go hoard now. *This isn’t a sponsored post http://www.zalora.com.ph/beauty/g-stuff/
